No wireframe imported with a step file

when I import a Step file into Fusion I  can not see any wireframe Trim lines as I do when I import it in to PowerShape or PowerMill.

I can use the Autodesk Exchange Utility to export the wireframe as a dwg file and import it in to Fusion, but it would save time and inconvenience for Fusion to read in the wireframe as well as the solids.

Do you mean the black highlighted lines on the model so that the model isn't only smooth?

Hi,

no not the surface curves, these are independent 3D curves that need to be machined in to the model.

for example, a checking fixture to ensure component's edges are correct.
