I've tried all of the posts I could find here, none of them generate valid g code that the machine will accept.

Ultimax 3 controls

Which G/M codes does your control not accept using the current Fusion HURCO Post Processor ??

Does your control use .hnc extension.

How are you loading your programs to the control, Floppy Disc or an Emulator ??

Do you have code that DOES run (even if it's just hand coded)? What differences exist between that code and what Fusion produces? "multiple syntax errors" doesn't tell us anything, unfortunately.

So Fusion come with some Generic post processors.

If you  would like a custom post, because the generic post doesn't suit your particular machine you can contact one of the Fusion providers and they can make a post for you(For a fee, Custom post development isn't free)

https://servicesmarketplace.autodesk.com/providers?search=&search_within=&services_speciality%5B6396...

This is pretty standard for CAM software to have to purchase the Post, Fusion just happens to have alot of pretty good Generic posts bundled in.

The people on the forum can be very helpful with Posts, however its generally done in spare time you if you need something done quickly I suggest getting in touch with someone from the above link

Most of the "random dudes" are Autodesk employees, some like @seth.madore also run their own shop and are very experienced, also they can get the right person from the Post Processor Dept to come and help you, all for free !!

As @a.laasW8M6T rightly points out most Cad-CAM Software vendors charge for Support, anyway, enough of that, lets try and solve your issue.

The current Post Processors available for HURCO do appear to output good code as far as I can see, can you please as @seth.madore has requested upload some code that does run OK on your control that can then be compared to the current PP output, try going to Pages 14/15 in the Manual and creating a small Program that works OK and posting it here, then the PP can be configured to produce the exact same code.

Might be worth a call to your local HURCO dealer as well 🙂 🙂
