NC file shows up as PNG file

when I post nc code it shows up as a png file

Hi @Don_Hansen 

Could you please open Preference dialog and check your external editor? This is the application used to open NC code, please try to change it to the expected application like VS code or the one you always use or just leave the path as empty(VS code will be asked to install and run if the path is empty) then post process again. Here is the location of the external editor:
