I would like to use the default autodesk fusion machine builds but would like to modify the bed size dimensions to meet what we have. We have a breton 5 axis CNC, so I have the kinematics setup but would love to change the dimensions of parts to match what we have.

Hi
You can copy the machine into your local or cloud library and then edit it in machine Builder
The components in the design have no design history, but you can apply direct modelling techniques to modify the size and shape of the parts.
Hi, I modified the components but when I try the simulation, the mates between the various parts seems to be gone, I tried defining the mates manually but it wasn't fixed. How can I correct this?
Hi, In machine builder you will need to reselect the Points,
They may look correct, but the machine Def is referencing the old numbers
What I do is go into machine builder and select different points(like ones in a different location) for tool attachment, rotations points etc, then save the machine.
Then go back in to machine builder and select all the correct points, this should trigger them to be updated correctly.
Hi, your method of selecting different points and saving correctly the second time worked perfectly. Many thanks!
No Problems
@seth.madore I would consider this a bug really(attachment points not updating), its really only been an issue since the changes to how machine builder works earlier this year, but seems to be a very common occurrence now
The issue is reappearing, somehow fusion is not syncing these settings properly and randomly it starts to sync them.
