Manual NC Action with keyword 'usepolarmode'.

Dear All,

wishing everyone a merry christmas! 🙂

I am stuck and can´t figure out how to "force G112 mode for a specific operation by using Manual NC Action with keyword 'usepolarmode'."

I am using this post processor: https://cam.autodesk.com/posts/post.php?name=haas%20st-15

In description it is saying:

Preconfigured HAAS ST-15 post with support for mill-turn. You can force G112 mode for a specific operation by using Manual NC Action with keyword 'usepolarmode'.

I tried to do this several times, googled a lot, tried and tried, but never got anything working.

Can anyone please guide me through how to do this?

Hi @philipp.meissner,

I did a quick check and get it to work without any problem.

I created a mill operation (2D Contour) and placed before that operation a Manual NC (Action) with the text"usepolarmode"

thanks a lot!

I am unsure if this is the solution because:

- This operation will use G112 polarmode even with your manual NC disabled.

- I intend to use this for radial milling. I tried using the manual NC as per your example.

This did not work.

I never found a way to make this work and I am afraid, this is not possible.

Hi @philipp.meissner,

The sample that I sent you is working for axial milling not radial.

If you suppress the Manual NC the G112 is gone and unsuppress the Manual NC it gives you an output with G112.

Running into the same problem.  I have a manual NC set to action and have tried:

'usepolarmode'

"usepolarmode"

usepolarmode

anyone have any ideas?

Did not have it checked in the list of operations in the post dialog.  Working now.
