Looking for Post Processor for Chinese router which sends the nc extension as a .jg file

Our school has a Chinese router. It requires a .jg file for the controller. I currently use the Inventables post processor which converts it to an .nc extension, and then have to run that file through a separate program called CNC Change, which essentially just converts it from an .nc to a .jg extension. When I try to look at the text of the .jg ext in notepad, it is just a jumble of characters. No g-code listed at all.

Is anyone familiar with any 3rd party post processors that I could install directly into Fusion 360 which will process to the .jg format, to eliminate the file conversion.

Regards

Simon

Hello @simon_bailey741 ,

it seems you are looking for a generic gcode ISO postprocessor.

I might suggest you looking in the Fusion post library here .

E.g. the postprocessor named XYZ only writes coordinate values:

If I had an example of what a .jg file looks like, I could be more helpful.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Andrea, thanks for getting back to me.

Here are some more details.

I have included a simple Fusion item to be machined. Does a contour and a pocket.
I use the Inventables Easel, post processor, which converts it to the correct .nc file for our machine.
Then I have to run it through a program called CNC Change to convert it to a .jg file. I literally just open the .nc file and click save. It is this step I am trying to eliminate if possible.

I have included the Post Sample as the .nc file, and the converted file once it has been saved through CNC Change. The text editors I have used have just shown characters scattered. This may be lacking a font on my computer. I am currently trying different Chinese Fonts to see if it can read the document better.

I have also included an image of the CNC Change interface with tool path displayed.

Kind Regards

Simon

Hello @simon_bailey741 ,

I cannot find anything attached here.

Could you please check and re-attach?

Please note that what I need is a sample of a working .jg file.

Thanks.
