After an update i can no longer use lathe profile rough (O.D.) and lathe profile finish (I.D.) in a project on a particular model, that Ive been working on.

Internal cam kernel error... you all now the rest I'm sure.

I can create a new file with a new model and everything is fine when i make a new lathe profile rough (O.D.) operation. I am not interested in re drawing the model for this program.

Please help, i am loosing money by the minute.

Accepted solution

@jbulat

We've fixed this issue in the upcoming update. It is specifically a problem when you have unequal finish / leave allowances so a temporary workaround would be to make them equal.

I appreciate the work around, but now another issue has appeared that has to do with an invalid profile. I'm not going to get into it because i am at the mercy of a desperate customer at a desperate time and frankly i don't have the time to help you guys figure out what the problem is so i will just make a new program using the old fashioned word address method.

Your development team needs more training or a better understanding of how manufacturing businesses operate. We cant be at the mercy of software developers when we are trying to make money in the most difficult time in recent human history.

Fusion needs to be restarted after an update for the fixes to take effect. That's probably what happened.
