How can I Force the C position on an 5 Axis Gimbal Head to avoid interference?

I need to force the C axis to move to the opposite side of a vise on our machine and i don't see a way to do this in the post that I am using. The post uses G68.2 for plane positioning so it's not just a simple change the C position manually or something like that. Anyway I would prefer to have control over this without manual edits. Please any insight would be appreciated.
