Have design and CAM for one part but want to machine multiple at once?

Hi There

I have been machining one part at a time but now I am wanting to machine 4 parts all the same out of one piece of wood. How would I set this up.

I tried inserting my part 4 times into a new file but it doesn't take the CAM with it. Just the design. I am  hoping I don't have to redo the CAM again

Any help would be great thank you as I've tried looking for videos without much success

In the Manufacture workspace, create a [Pattern] and set how you would like. Either in a row or in a grid. This creates a folder in you tree. You would then move all of your operation that you already programmed into that folder.

I'm a little confused sorry. So do I have to make multiple parts the same in DESIGN and then use MANUFACTURE TO cam or can I use the one part I have in DESIGN and make multiple parts in MANUFACTURE

Sorry cant seem to get my head around this. Its probably really easy once you know how it works

Thanks again

Hi @Anonymous

I have attached some screenshots showing what @johnswetz1982 is suggesting. If you right mouse click on your toolpath, select add to new pattern. You can the pattern the toolpath and do as many with however much spacing you require.

Hope this helps

You only need one copy of your design. In the Manufacture workspace is where you would make multiple copies of what you want made.
