Engraving a logo with 90deg tool variable depths

I would like to engrave a logo in wood with a vee tool. I want the tool path to increase the depth of cut in order to increase the width as required to achieve the shape.

For example: a curved line that is wider in the middle then at the ends. The tool would plunge deeper in order to reach the width as it changes.

I was going to use a flat end mill to carve out the shape but some profiles are 0.020" wide or less. It's impractical to use a flat end mill.

I never run into this type of feature in metal on the mills - where all my experience is. This is just a woodworking project for family. I understand this is a simple feature for most woodworking softwares, I am unsure of what tool path to use in Fusion.

I will try to post a picture of the logo for reference.

Hi

The Engrave toolpath should do what you describe.

Yo need to use a Chamfer/engrave tool to do this

I have NEVER had success with the engrave feature... If I was engraving a serial number, for example, I have always used Trace.

I also had the logo extruded into the base material during design which was causing Fusion to seriously lag (I assume way too many triangle thingies to compute).

This was the exact process I was looking for.

Thanks!
