I think it would be really helpful to be able to eject a storage device from within Fusion 360, similar to how Cura does. This eliminates having to minimize the window, go find your USB and right click and eject.
Hmmm, is there a specific reason with your PC that you need to go to the piece of hardware to eject it ??
Never had to do that for years and years, way back that needed to be done with pieces of hardware but nowadays especially with USB it is just plug it in/unplug it and my PC just "recognizes" it straight off, and there are no issues with just pulling the USB piece of hardware out 🙂

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’ve always ejected a storage device before unplugging it. The way Cura handles it is really nice. It gives a pop up that asks if you want to save your code to the media device when you plug it in, then a button pops up to eject once it’s done saving.
