We are attempting to try out the Fusion 360 software and want to see how we can get it to post to an Anilam 3000 touch so we can try it out. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Anilam 3000 runs conversational code only, right? You seem to have a post for that in Fusion.

The generic post that comes with Fusion is pretty useless, try the one in this thread. Read though the whole thread and use one of the later posts, someone else added a modified version of the post I made, haven't tried it so don't know if it's OK. As for where to save the custom post, see below.

Test the post carefully and I'd better add this

The accompanying advice and or non-standard post processor is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind, and usage is at the userā€™s own risk.

Do not put custom posts in the generic posts folder. Use the personal folder. or another location.

Yes the Anilam is conversational. The 3000 is the same as the 3300 and the 1100 control. No matter which post you use, you might need some changes. This is because the Anilam 3000 is a retrofit control and it could be mounted on anything. It may or may not control the Spindle, coolant, tool changer of any variety of miscellaneous functions. I believe Mark gave me the post I use for my Anilam 1100 3x Bridgeport mill. It did need a few changes. My machine is pretty basic.

Can you tell us about your machine?
Is it a machining center or a knee mill with a retrofit?
Can you program spindle on/off  and RPM?

Coolant on/off?   Do you have a toolchanger?

I rewrote the Help documentation on Postprocessors. There's a page on selecting a post and how to test it.

That might be useful to you.

Yes it's a machining center. And yes you can program spindle on/off as well as coolant and has a tool changer.

HI, I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 4 axis CNC Fryer MB10R with anilam 3000 touch control. Is there a post that has the tool change available on it? I am currently just putting in the Mcode 6 after the tool number by hand. can a post processor do this, or is one out there? thanks !!

I looked at your pics, this is what I am looking for! May I ask how you got this post processor with tool change?

Hey Kyle
I asked our operator and this is what he said:
Post macro edit for tool change as of now manually putting M code 6 in after every tool change
