Hi Everyone --
I've been getting into Fusion 360 over the last few months and (mostly) everything has been going smoothly. I have some specific questions that I hope can be answered. Some may be bugs, some may be me still trying to get used to Fusion. Before this, I was working on a mixture of Mastercam and OneCNC.
1) Toolpaths still generate inside of bores even after patching. Is there a way around this so that Fusion can read the faces without it being solid part? I otherwise have to select every single patch as well as "include setup model" if I want it to work correctly, and this can take up a load of time when there are hundreds of holes on a part.
2) Is it possible to remove the "whole body" selection when picking surfaces for boundaries and/or touch/avoid surfaces? I never want to avoid/touch the whole body, so I don't see why it gets highlighted as an option before finally selecting my correct face/surface.
3) Noobie question--Is it possible to create multiple surface patches at once?
4) When copy-->pasting toolpaths from different setups, sometimes the cycle that was copied from the original setup loses its toolpath, even if it's a protected operation. Is there a way to prevent this?
5) How do I de-select already selected boundary lines when creating a boundary? Ctrl+Click does not remove the line(s).
6) Why are some lines un-clickable when creating a boundary? (This may have to do with the model, I'll ask our Solidworks dpt as well)
7) Is there a way to make setting the "home" view work simultaneously on both the "Model" and the "CAM" tabs at the same time?
8) Is there a way to default all of the drop-down menus on the "Heights" tab to "Model Top?"
Even if you can only answer one question, I appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
