hi I'm sheldan the newbie. please help. I have fusion 360 on my house computer and I really like this program. my cnc in the garage is hooked up to a 32 bit computer. how do I send my cad from fusion to a 32 bit computer. can I do that. what is the easiest way. what are my options. I don't wanna buy an other computer. thank you in advance
Fusion is a 64 bit program, so running it on a 32bit machine is out of the question. However, all you need to get out to the CNC machine (I'm assuming Mach3 or similar?) is the G-Code. Design and program on your home PC (64 bit) and post out the code. If you are networked, you should be able to store it in a folder accessible from either PC. Alternatively, you could dump it on a flash drive and bring it out. A bit cumbersome, but those are your options
Alternatively, does your shop PC support a 64 bit installation? If it is a recent enough PC, is the option there to upgrade, or are there hardware limitations?
