2D empty toolpath

When trying to create a 2d toolpath for plasma cutting some features stay empty. Small features don't get recognized,  altough they are bigger than the tool. So I'm unable to make a toolpath for cutting text or small details.

What options do I have to solve this?

Most of my CAD experience is with Inventor. To Fusion 360 I'm fairly new.

It could be your kerf width, all the options in the linking tab (lead ins outs , pierce clearance, etc ) all add up to too much.

can you post your f3d saved up to date?

I ve made a few video on YouTube specific for F360 and plasma tables. they are a little dated since last last few updates but still mostly relevant.

I also stream on Twitch often about different design scenarios specific for F360 to plasma designs

Thanks for the tips. Started following your channel on Youtube.
But do you also have a video on making a toolpath after you've inserted a .svg file in F360? I miss that part a the end of video 5, 'using a silhouette'. But maybe it's because F360 and CAM are fairly new to me.

I appreciate the follow.

If you go to my twitch channel the videos are way more up to date I usually do one maybe two a day. And they only last 7 days so they're all very current. I have been meaning to put together some cleaner more current videos for YouTube but there's just been so many updates that keeps changing my work flow.

If you post your SVG I could do a quick walkthrough on Twitch with your drawing.

Thank you very mutch. Kind to make a walkthrough. I registered on Twitch so I can check your video's.

The .svg attached is the logo of the school where I teach.   It has a lot of fine features.

I'm in Belgium, so it's not time sensitive. I appreciate your effort. I run a Lincoln Tomahawk 1025 plasmacutter in school. The CNC movement is done with an Arcdroid. https://arcdroidcnc.com/

For the Lincoln Tomahawk I don't have any specs for running CNC,  sorry.

Thanks in advance

I'll check out the video, but a narrated version would be awsome 😁 . Still feel like a novice in Fusion 360, my Inventor skills are better.

Thank you very mutch for this video. It's giving me much information about houw to effectivly work with Fusion360 to generate toolpaths. Especially because I have to teach my students next year to make basic toolpaths themselves. And of course to get better myself and make some cool stuff.

Thanks

You're welcome I stream almost every single day going through different scenarios to use Fusion 360 for plasma cutting.

If you get a chance come join over at The langmuir Forum site I know you do not have a Langmuir machine but we don't discriminate and there is a wealth of plasma cutting information available there.

Lots of helpful members giving information on every single topic surrounding plasma CNC.
