We we experienced strange behavior while simutaled toolpath. It was wraped 2D Contour with in control compensation.
With in computer compensation type it looks good.
It's not urgent because we did it without compensation in the machine, but I would like to know if we are doing something wrong or if it is a bug.
Fusion can't do in-control compensation for any 5-axis toolpath, including wrapped toolpaths. The bug is that Fusion shouldn't be giving you that option. The bug is logged as ticket CAM-50184.
Apparently there are some high-end controllers that can do cutter compensation on 5-axis toolpaths. But they would require a lot more information from Fusion (surface normal directions, etc.) in order to be able to do the calculations.
