Wonky trace tool path being generated (with screencast!)

Getting an odd tool path generated, see screencast:

After you project the sketch to the "back" side, window select the new sketch geometry, right click; Break Link. Now try it. I'm wondering if it has anything to with it's association to the original

Would you be willing to export and share the model? I'm wondering on a few things I'd like to try:

Setup of second side, is it established properly

Are the sketches actual radii, or is it a conic curve

what about trying 3D adaptive, comp set to off, leadouts set to off

Try Alt selecting the curves. It looks like the software thinks you've got closed contours for a couple of the sketch entities and forcing an open contour selection should fix that.

Alt select??? Oh my....where have you been all my life?! I did not know that was a command. My new favorite for today!

Just trying a trace tool path for a facing op and fusion wanted to generate its own toolpath on the curves I had at the end of the straight lines. Fusion should include pop ups to warn needing to use Alt when selecting your toolpath.

That's not always the case, though. I believe an update somewhere has made this a little screwy with SOME geometry. I made a toolpath earlier on someone's shared part that made the Contour selections in Trace work exactly as one would expect with no issues.

Sorry! I just moved on a cut it like that so I could move forward. 

But yes, I just tried alt-select and that solves the problem of the tool path.
