What happened to select all points for drilling?

A few months ago, in drill operation, I could select a point and there was an option for ALL points (or all similar or something like that). Now it's gone. I opened up one of my old projects to make sure I picked the right op (vs bore or something else) and without changing anything, regenerating the path went from 4 minutes to 15 seconds. Sure enough, it's now only drilling the one point I selected and not ALL the points. What's going on here?

I got the same results as you did on the first try then I did a new drill op and it was correct.

@seth.madore Can you please have a look at this.

Yeah, I'm seeing this to. I've got one laptop that I try to keep a few releases behind, and I have the "select same diameter" option. Note; that only works when I select a sketch diameter not a sketch point.

I'll open a ticket to see if this was an intentional removal.

Thanks. I opened a new drill op, too, and it looked correct at first, but it had defaulted to selecting faces rather than points. When I changed to "Select Points", the option went away.

Hey, it sure is!! Thanks for this!! My kid likes to design patterns for string art that I can hole-punch on my CNC. Saves her a lot of hassle locating and pounding in the nails. This fix saves me a lot of hassle selecting dozens of points!!

Really do appreciate it!

Did the option to select all points get removed again? I have about 10,000 holes I need to drill and cant select them 1 by 1. If I model the holes it takes about 15 minutes for each little step before I can create the final tool path. If I am just selecting points in is way faster.

That works for holes. I’m wanting to select points. Selecting points is way
faster. If I extrude 10,000 holes I can select all of them but it takes a
very long time. --

As I said I did a 66 x 66 why would I test something completely different to your problem it would be pointless yes it was points.

@nolimitsplastic

Are your holes/points on a grid all the same distance apart ?

If so you only need to create a single hole and then in Manufacture toolpath that hole and then use the Add to new Pattern to create the 10,000 holes, doesn`t take long here, anyway it is just another option for you to explore !!

This is 10,000 holes in an 800 x 800 mm sheet x 25 mm thick and all holes through bottom x 1mm, and only took 8 minutes to create. The example file for this is attached if it is of any use to you.

Sorry, The select same diameter threw me. I wasn't even looking for that option in point selection mode. Thank you!
