Nobody has a fix for this? I've done other boring programs and not had this problem. I have to manually edit the program so there is no crash.

I took a look, but don't do much turning (or really at all yet) and didn't really come up with a solution. I got the "Invalid home position" error to go away but the back of the toolholder crashing into the workpiece got worse, so I don't consider it a solution.

I would email your file to support, as it might be a bug.

That problem occurs when there is a blind bore.  You can see from the attached it work correctly with a thru hole.  It has been brought up before but not sure they ever addressed it.

Seems like a simple thing for them to fix.

It may take years for them to figure this out.  You never really know.  I have not seen anyone address it from development so I am assuming it is a bug, but maybe they have a different method in mind.
