Updates and user defaults

Since a few updates ago, everytime i update fusion i loose my preferences like Reverse zoom direction or that it creates the NC program and saves it in the document and also all my settings that i set to "user default" in the toolpaths are back to stock settings.
Before i never had any issues with that and once i turned it on or off, it stayed like that.
Now it seems like on every update i have to manually restore my settings again.

Does anyone have the same problem or knows a solution to that?
Exporting my defaults is useless because that file is almost 3 years old.

@weber_dominic In recent updates we have addressed issues where preference was being lost. However, in your case it seems like you are still facing the issue.

1. Are ALL your preference changes being lost during an update?
2. I know you mentioned a few like zoom and in the manufacturing options, are there any other areas that you are seeing this?

OK thanks for the answer so far!
not sure where else to be honest. Definitely all the manufacturing options are gone and as i mentioned those preferences general settings. I don't think i've set any other user defaults.

Can you please send your log files to [email protected]?

Also, can you tell us more about how you are using Fusion?
1. Do you run Fusion on multiple machines and switch back and forth between them multiple times throughout the day?

2. Do you have multiple instances running at the same time?

3. Can you provide specifics on what Manufacturing settings you are changing?

Thanks

1. I do use Fusion on several computers. 80% on the computer at work and sometimes either my notebook or my computer at home. Today for example i only used the one at work and updated Fusion this the morning. Only on one computer so far since the settings are gone again. So there is no constant switching back and forth i'd say.

2. Sometimes i have multiple instances running ("normal" version and fusion insider) very rarely though. Also not since the update.

3. Yes, for example the compensation type in 2D Contour, Bore and Thread Milling. Stay-Down Level and No-Engagement Feedrate in 3D Adaptive. High Feedrate Modes in 3D Toolpaths etc.

Hope that helps! Thank you very much for all the support!

@weber_dominic - Did you experience this loss of preferences in your Insider build or Production build? I would love to understand the details of how you were using the two builds around the time of the update and where you noticed the loss of preferences.

Hi Mike,
It's in the Production build. I don't use the Insider version very often.
I started my Computer and only updated the Production build. Didn't even open anything else and the settings were gone.
