Hello,

I am having trouble generating my code using fusion 360 turning and a Microkentics lathe and Turnmaster Pro.  I set the post processor up ( think) but when I post is I get the message below. I don't understand how to fix this.  Please help.

Need more information than just images 🙂

Can you please upload the Fusion file by going to :-

File > Export > Select f3d format > Save to a location on your computer > Then attach to your reply.

Can you also please attach the Post Processor that you are using 🙂

Thank you very much for responding. I think I figured out that I had the
mill post not the turning post. Now I have to figure out how to load it in
the library. If you could help with that I would appreciate it. I am a
teacher in Northern Indiana and I got this machine from the teacher down
the hall that could never figure it out (long story) I am slowly getting
through it. I will add the post processor below and then maybe you could
help me get it loaded in . After that It might work.
I look forward to your response!

There is no file attached to your reply, you need to go to below your answer where it has the "Attachments" facility, click on where it says "browse", that will open up access to your computer and you can then navigate to the Post Processsor .cps file wherever that may be on your computer and select it and wait for it to upload before your click Post  🙂

I tried to find a MicroKinetics Lathe Post Processor, do you have any more information on the Lathe Control software ??

This is the post. I think I got it to work. I am getting some more
figured out. I am trying to get the starting procedure .... learned. I
didn't get any manuals or such with it.
I really appreciate your help!

Nope, still no file attached, you may need to put it in a "Zip" folder to get it to attach properly.

Looked up the Micronetics machines and on the site they say that the TurnMaster control will run standard RS274 G Code, so probably a Fanuc Generic Lathe Post Processor might be the place to start and work from there.

I think looking at their system you should be able to do most jobs at the control without code from Fusion, might be worth spending some time doing that to get familiar with the machine and control first 🙂 🙂
