Trouble with post processing

Hello everyone, so we’re trying to implement Fusion 360 for our milling guys and we’re hitting an issue posting to the machines. The machine in question is a ROKU ROKU with a fanuc 16i controller, the posts are brought into the machines and read with a O2500 program on the machine. So when we post it sees G54 and alarms out, we do this becuase we have multiple fixtures that are already set in the machine. I’ve tried all the Fanuc posts in fusions library and none have worked. Can I use an 3rd party to write a post processer for fusion in an APT file? I’m not super educated in this but anything helps so we can get cutting, thanks!

What is the alarm and what is causing it? Do you not need the G54, 55 etc in your code?

And yes, there are many third party sources (we refer to these individuals typically as "resellers"). You can find a list of them here: https://www.autodesk.com/support/partners?solutions=Fusion%20360&services=Post%20Processor

Hello! Yes it alarms out saying improper g code once it hits the g54. We use the O2500 program in the machine to run different offsets one after another. I reached out to another company to maybe edit the fanuc post in the fusion library or see if they can write one. I saw on another fusion post that fusion doesn’t accept outside posts only their edits or what’s in their library, I hope that’s not true! Thank you for the reply!

Oh, we totally accept that some users would prefer to have a post modified by an outside source. Where an issue comes in is when we do an update to Fusion, we can only test our update against posts we've written. So, if an issue arises with a third party post, it's going to be on the customer to go back to the reseller and sort it out.
