Trace Tool Path Bug

I have a problem file that is not retracting tool paths between some trace lines. I have ruined a lot of plastic debugging the problem and have found hat the G Code does not lift the tool every time even if I regenerate the tool paths. Please contact me for a file if you need I can not post the design publically. This tool pa has to trace 12 lines and only picks the tool up between traces about 70% of the time.

This is obvious but I'd better ask, have you disabled Keep Tool down on the linking tab?

That is funny, it wasn't obvious to me at all! That fixed it. I would expect "keep tool path down" wouldn't intersect with the model.

For trace stay down should probably be disabled as the default, only really useful for pocketing. If you set the op up how you like it you can right click it in the browser and select Make default and all your settings will be saved.
