Which would be the best toolpaths to finish the faces and diameters of this part? ive tried numerous paths and cant seem to get it to work. see image and attachments. i have access to the manufacturing extension but the 2nd op is done of 3+2 mill rather than full 5 axis.
Its definitely do able in 3+2 but some surfaces will need to be attacked from multiple angles and you will need a 1mm ball nose to do them.
Unfortunately I don't have time atm to come up with the toolpaths and I'm going to be away for a week but yea you can do parts with Advanced swarf set to 3 axis, parts with Blend and the 8mm endmill, rest with geodesic and multiple positions.
