Toolpath Losing Selections

Anytime I do anything to the program, whether it is just moving a toolpath to a different part of the program or editing a toolpath, some toolpaths lose all of the selections such as the tool orientation and contours along with specific height selections.

There are a few questions to get us started:

  1. Can you capture this in a screen recording?
  2. Does this happen with all files?
  3. What toolpaths trigger this, or is it any?
  4. Are you working with native Fusion data, or imported models?
If it's imported models, are you using an AnyCAD workflow, or direct import into Fusion?

Unfortunately I can't show this part. I've been doing some testing and it seems to happen randomly. It can be triggered by something as simple as renaming the toolpath. It happened after I reopen the file after saving it with working toolpaths. This is the first file its happened to. I tried messing around with some old files and it doesn't appear to be happening. This a directly imported model that was designed in SolidWorks and emailed to me.

Would you be able to share your Fusion file privately?
File > Export > Save to local folder, and email it to me: seth DOT madore AT autodesk DOT com
Please reference this thread so I understand the context 🙂
