tool library not syncing

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what i'm doing wrong with the tool library. i have a relatively low powered machined at the workshop and a more powerful one at my home office. I've enabled the cloud libraries in the preferences under manufacturing , but still my tool library doesn't seem to update on the cloud. This is a cut-paste from my workshop pc:

As you can see, there is a tool 13 for example:

When i check at home:

The list looks different.

Its bit problematic since i'd like to be able to do cam at the home and just use it in the workshop, but i also need to know the exact tools and lenghts to check for collisions and such. I know i can export the library, but that seems like a pretty inefficient way of working with a cloud based design sw and all.

best regards,

Janne Kotka

Hi -

Sorry for the delay in replyling.

We run into synchronization problems from time to time, and don't have a sense for what triggers them. Generally, you can fix this by:

1) Shut down Fusion (important).

2) Navigate to the directory (in Explorer) %localappdata%\autodesk\autodesk fusion 360\<userid>\W.login.

3) Rename the "M" directory (e.g., to "zzzM").

4) Restart Fusion.

Do this on the machine that's not seeing the up-to-date library.

Hopefully this will kick a resynchronization from the Cloud folder(s) into your machine.

Thanks!

I had an issue with the shop machine where fusion refused to start unless i started it on admin mode, which i then set as a default as workaround. Maybe this was related to that.
