DUDE! @Anonymous go toot your own horn somewhere else. This forum is here to inform and constructively solve problems.  All we have seen from you in the last few days is mindless dribble about how good you are. Your technical input is appreciated but your narcissism is not!

(I will admit I have made a few glaring posts as well, but I try to be as courteous and professional as I can. )

WOW, some pimple pops when you least expect, but why you?, you don't seem to have a dog in this race so it must be your itch to steer conflicts.

Read the thread pal and make your judgement based on facts, I know my worth and my weakness so you are way off target.

All my posts have genuine intent to contribute to solutions, avoiding pinheads and freeloaders is one of the reasons why I stay away from "social media" toilet, but since I am subscribed to Fusion, I don't need your permission to be here.

If you are speaking on behalf of Fusion, we can settle that too, show me where I broke the rules, other than addressing you with same respect you are addressing me with.

I never asked for help here, NEVER, since the day I first downloaded Fusion, I rolled up my sleeves and figured my way around making parts for past two years, so that we understand who we are.

As for my being "out of line",......... if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck,.............. it's a duck. someone has to call it a "DUCK".

Gentleman that started this post has not been able to compare two samples of G-code and come to a conclusion that the concept is identical, I had to tell him that because ............ HE ASKED.

Now all of a sudden he is stunned, can't figure out what caused any suspicion on my part so you jump to his rescue, the detective in you had to act, protecting his honor from me, after I spelled out solution to his nightmare.

Yeah, I know who you are, I shared work with few experts who used to say "I can hold my own...",  then sooner or later  it turned out they could not but were still defiant and arrogant enough to accept help and never acknowledge it.

Klap,... klap ...klap ....KLAP...KLAP.....klap ...klap

I gained nothing here that defines my tomorrow in any way, I had few people thank me for pointing them in right direction and that's nice but I can do without it.

Vic did provide the correct answer and reasoning. It's typically required for gaskets and adhesives. A threading toolpath aligned with the X axis "should" do the trick. Choice of tooling/inserts is usually determined by customer. I've seen them done with small radius P.H. Horn tools, custom wired form tools, you name it.

Seth, I wish to thank you for your assessment here and your professional and fair conduct in general, it is an honor and privilege to be in your company, something that spreads thin in all forums, even with rules.

Thank you, Sir.

Alright, listen up folks.

This is a public forum where the goal is to help people. There are community members from all across the world and at all stages of learning. We expect to see constructive discussions, not personal attacks, judgments upon abilities, unhelpful back-and-forth "he said, she said". There are plenty of other forums where you can take this behavior (*cough Practical Machinist cough*)

We have a clear Community Etiquette policy, I strongly encourage all parties to read and abide by it.

We all have something to learn and something to teach, from the most seasoned to the most novice of us. Let's keep things civil, please.

Is there any development regarding adding X-treading (since this is not very complicated code)?

I need it quite often and it is frustrating to always manualy write the code, also mistake can sneak in if not very carefull…

No, we haven't done any work on this area of turning, unfortunately.
