The Flute Length is 0 and am unable to generate any tool paths

Ok, I am getting the dreaded "The flute length is 0" on every turning job I have that has internal profiling and am unable to generate tool paths for any old or new jobs I have.

I have uninstalled Fusion360 and re-installed, I have recreated parts and deleted and recreated tooling with no solution is sight.

Please help....

I tried rebuilding this from scratch and get

Warning: The flute length is 0.

Warning: The maximum stepdown (=0.04 in) is greater than the flute length (=0 in).

Generation completed successfully in 279.6ms.

Warning: Empty toolpath.

I managed to replicate this issue and I have upped the priority on it. For now a workaround is to derive a profile turning operation from the operation in the sample file you sent us and it won't give you the error anymore. Let me know if you still have problems,

Hi Akash the workaround generates the same error with no tool path for me... so I am still unable to generate a tool path

Look at the Profile2 in the attached file. I derived Profile3 and changed the inner and clearance radii so there was some stock to cut.

FYI, We've fixed the flute length warning in the April release of Fusion. Regards, Akash Kamoolkar
