Hi there,

I am new to fusion 360 (experienced in Solidworks and inventor) and am trying to make a multiaxis swarf toolpath to chamfer my part (see the desired result in foto 1). I tried all kinds of selecting but could not get the program to give me a good toolpath.

the way i got the best results but not final was by selecting the countour edges manualy but this doesnt work completly, when i get to a sertain point the blue and yellow lines flip, but they dont flip on the first part (see foto Swarf edges).

the flipping of these lines make the rool go inverted when it gets to those lines , (rams tru stock, part and mounting, collisions).

im sorry if this is a realy basic thing im doing wrong but does annyone know what im missing?

Thanks a lot for your time.

best regards Loek

Could you share your Fusion file?

Yeah the part here would massively help as this doesn't seem like it should be hard at all.

Hi Man,

This one was easy. The selections are a lot easier if you set the Tool Orientation as I do in this example. The chaining algorithm than picks up what you want much easier. I still like to start with alt to start with a single chain, but can also pick a closed contour and then change to an open one. Probably the same amount of clicks.
I think it's pretty straightforward from there.
