Routing around sharp angle - FOAM

I'm currently at the dentist when writing this so will upload photos later.

I've got some LD45 Foam for tool cutouts - when cutting along the inside of pliers handles the path causes the foam to be dragged drag and deform the cut.

I'm using Flat toolpath generation

Are there any settings I should be checking prior that I may have missed? (I'm almost entirely self taught with both design and manufacture in fusion)

I believe this could be optimised with a better end mills / better speed and feed rates but I would like to make sure the software is setup and running correctly.

I've had other issues ie the foam wrapping around the end mills - and was looking for a way to break up continuous toolpaths but had no luck with finding any information so would also appreciate that if anyone has advice

When home later I will upload photos and screens of toolpath

Flat is more for finishing. Try using an adaptive before!
