Hello Autodesk Community,  

To inform you, the Autodesk Fusion 360 software was part of an Open Source Demonstration and Research Initiative in Digital Fabrication. The Demonstration is accessible through the Florida State University, College of Fine Art, Department of Art’s website, Resources for Teaching webpage. 

CNC Machining Demonstration

In addition to the Demonstration there are several Open Sources files available for those seeking the knowledge, including demonstration videos and code files (.nc and .ai). All content shared has a GNU General Public License attribution. Make contact to receive information.

Correct. However, there is a 30 day trial! In addition, Fusion360 software has roots in Open Source culture, despite being a monetized commodity.
