Ramp strategy weird result

Hey guys!

Could somebody explain me why fusion decided to ramp lower than the model surface in a particular place, and how to avoid this inconvenience in future?

Just ruined a nice piece of aluminum :(.

That's strange. I loaded your file and a simple regeneration of the toolpaths gave me good results.

Are you on the latest release (update) of Fusion 360?

As @oscar-cadcampilot  just recalculation fixes it for me. Sometimes Fusion gets into a state where it'll do something odd like this and closing Fusion and restarting will fix it. Even seen it where just closing the file and reopen will fix an error.

Exactly the same here as @oscar-cadcampilot and @HughesTooling if any changes are made to an operation then always best to re-generate the particular operation and check the toolpath before cutting!!

Nothing wrong with the software, just "be aware" and double check !!

Maybe something that you did not notice yet, but you should always compare the result in simulation using "comparison" mode.  You would have seen this immediately and saved a piece of aluminum!  Hope it helps for the future...
