Hello,
I am having trouble figuring out why I am unable to rest-machine with Multi-Axis > Rotary Pocket operations.
The majority of the material is first removed with rotary pocket with a 1/16" 2-fluted end mill. The second operation is also a rotary pocket operation with a 0.0240" end mill selected. Both operations are within the same setup.
I have tried using method: Enter simulation for the first rotary pocket operation > forward to end of TP > right click > Stock > Save Stock as STL > Load into design and use for stock selection under a new setup. This does not seem to be working for me either.
I have also tried simply selecting "Rest Machine Enabled > From Previous Operations" and the generated TP is still showing cutting moves for already removed material.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions on this issue?
I feel like I am missing something right in front of me 😞
(Attached is a f3d., snapshot of operation 1 (which is correct), and a snapshot of operation 2 (which is providing me a toolpaths with cutting moves for material already removed by the first).
Operation 1: Rotary Pocket (Working correctly!)
Operation 2: Rotary Pocket with rest machining enabled (not working).
