Problems with contour selection since update

Just a heads up to the developers. I've been having a nightmare with contour selection for toolpaths since the update. Can no longer seem to continuously generate a chain by clicking individual elements from the model. Seems to randomly select closed chains even when open contour is selected and unnecessary elements can't be deleted. It seems totally random whether or not a sketch or sketch lines can be selected. Also the new muddy blue highlighting is unclear when working in finer detail. Judging by similar issues raised on social media forums, we're not the only ones having trouble.

I too am not a fan of the two shades of blue, I feel that they should be more distinctive.

Could you share a screenshot of what you're trying to accomplish, and perhaps the part as well? I'd be happy to make a screen recording to help you through this!

The ability to select open silhouettes would be nice.. the tool path has the functionality to select entry and exit points maybe that could be utilised .. I normally hold the Alt key to select the start of an open contour and edit from there.
