Problems making templates

At home I was able to make templates just fine for certain tool paths that I use a lot and I figured I'd try to recreate those at work. But every time I right click the toolpath I want to turn into a template and click on create template it's not doing anything except for I can't right click on anything anymore until I completely restart fusion 360. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

I can't be sure what causes it, but look in your preferences, in the preview features.  Did you enable the new "template library" feature?  If yes, maybe try turning it off, and if not, try turning it on.

Also, are you using the same account at work and at home?  If so, your templates should be accessible from both places in the folder "assets", "CAMtemplates", if you put them in "cloud".  Also should be right there in the new "template library" if you enable it.

If using a different account, you can export them from work account and import in home account.

But yeah, I understand you need to be able to create them, so try what I said 1st, it might be what will "unlock" it.

Enabling the newer template library worked, perfectly. Which is really weird I did nothing different when setting up the software on the two computers. Maybe my work computer is just too much of toaster it is having other issues too. But it's works now which is great thank you for the help.
