Problem with circular pattern

Anonymous
Not applicable

A strange problem occurred while generating the circular pattern of the program path. The path for planning a single plane is generated correctly. Unfortunately, if you want to create a circular pattern for 3 planes based on this one correctly made path, there is an error. I compared it with my previous programs for similar circular path patterns and it worked there. Maybe I missed something? Please help.

I paste the link to the file from Fusion, unfortunately I can not attach it for unknown reasons, an error pops up.

This is the f3z format from fusion 360.

problem 1.pngproblem 2.png

above I posted a visualization of the problem. Doing one track, the program works. Creating a circular path, unfortunately, an error pops up on the pocket nc postprocessor. The situation is strange, I generated circular paths for the remaining walls and the problem does not occur. Maybe it's a bug once I had another strange problem? Is there a way to generate valid paths?

Do a save as on the model break link then post that so it is a .f3d.

I think daniel_lyall want a single file here to download.

Your link to the google drive folder have many files...wish is it ?

So go to your fusion360, say export and export to a .f3d file, then add it as an attachment here in this forum.

The number of files is due to several objects in the program: clamping and workpiece. In previous topics I uploaded several files the same as here and it was ok.

I put a single file of the workpiece itself.

There is a limited amount of extensions allowed in the forum .f3zd is one that is not, it is a pain.

You need to post the model with toolpaths in it so I can see if it is you or fusion.

I add a model with paths, unfortunately 2 files because the path references on the model require it.

Can you post a model that has worked the error is the A axis is going the wrong way.

Is this the same as what you are seeing

Error: Work plane is not supported: A-228.19 B74.478
Error at line: 634
Error in operation: 'Face8'
Failed while processing onSection() for record 1055.

My message:

Error: Work plane is not supported: A-228.19 B-60.522
Error at line: 634
Error in operation: 'Face3'
Failed while processing onSection() for record 1077.

The error occurs after I make a circular pattern from a single tool path for an oblique edge. The single tool path for the diagonal path works, unfortunately the circular pattern for it does not.

I put a working path, without a circular pattern.

Do you have version one or two pocketNC?

There's the problem the A axis moves too far for a V1 machine a V2 is fine with how your setup is If you change it's direction so you can have the A tilting a small amount and the B doing all the big angle changes it should be fine.

I will have a play and see what I can come up with.

The error occurs after I make a circular pattern from a single tool path for an oblique edge. The single tool path for the diagonal path works, unfortunately the circular pattern for it does not.

I put a working path, without a circular pattern.

Axis B is rotatable, Axis A has a limited range. In another model to which I give the link below, the path was written in such a way as to create one transition on an oblique plane, then a circular pattern was made. The machine then simply rotates the object in the B axis, the angle remains unchanged. If you know the solution, please describe it more thoroughly if it can handle the pictures. Best wishes.

I deleted and redid the toolpaths the A axis is still going too far(for a V1 machine going by the specks) the B is good now.

If you break link on all the Xref files and post the link to the model it will help I am not sure if what I am seeing is corrupted or not as the toolpath are different if I redo them from scratch using this toot https://pocketnc.com/pages/part-setup  doing a pattern after the fact the toolpath is just going too far in the A axis for a V1 machine A V2 machine has no issues.
