Pre-Drill Position unusable

I am getting a strange pre-drill position warning due to the stay-down distance being less than the distance between the pre-drill position and the start of the toolpath.  The odd thing is I have an identical hole which this entire process functions 100% correct. I tried to duplicate and only change the chain for the selected feature, same error. Reselected my option for this one 3x thinking I missed something. This is a large hole being milled starting from center using Wrap Toolpath for an A axis machine. Top Left Hole "Good" Top Right Hole "Warning"

I just re-set the "Tool Orientation" for that hole and it seems to be OK now, anyway, try it and see if it works for you 🙂

I reset the tool orientation, but when using wrap toolpath in negates the tool orientation. If pre-drill and entry positions are not selected it makes a circle but not from center.

Hi @aaronsYVQQR 

It's definitely a bit weird why we cannot use the point from sketch 8, but I refined that sketch and it works now.

Open up the design and you'll see that I created a tangent plane on that face, projected geometry from the cylinder below and added a new point.  Did the trick.

I agree, don't understand it but sometimes redefining geometry helps.  Wouldn't be the first time that I've seen something like this.  Hopefully it's a one time deal and not reoccurring.

I have the exact same problem in several of my projects.

I tried tool orientation or making a sketch to create a point to select instead of the hole hedge but all fails.

Feels like this bug came with the latest update.

@seth.madore  I am happy to report that the update yesterday fixed the pre drill issue for me!

Since this update though, the manufacturing workspace has gone very slow on most operations.

Have other experienced this sloginess  as well?

I am on Mac OS if it's relevant.
