I am unable to get a tool path to solve. I have tried the same tool path ( saved as template) on many other pockets, without a failure.

I have attached the failure and one of the many good models.

Please try them out.

Your entry is what is keeping the toolpath from working. If you reduce the helix diameter to .19 or smaller you will get a toolpath:

It would be nice to reduce this limitation. A 1/4": tool in a 1/2" slot, or even a 3/8" tool would provide a better cut.

Got it.
Reduce the helix diameter. Think before I leap.

I'm not sure what you mean. It's not a limitation, it's a setting.

You can reduce the helix diameter to ridiculously small numbers to fit it into an area but that's usually bad for the cutter, and the bigger the tool gets the less room it has to move in the cut (IE a 1/2" slot with a 3/8" cutter only has .105" to move around in when Stock to Leave is set to .01"). High speed machining toolpaths usually work much better with smaller tools and 1-2.5*Dia depth of cut with a drastically reduced stepover.
