I have a design with jaws fixtures controlled by user parameters.
I have a design with a part I want to mill so in this design I insert the "jaws" design.
I then break the link to the jaws in order to gain access to its parameters (makes no sense that I have to do that but that's how Fusion wants it). I still don't have access to them though, the Change Parameters command is not in the menu.
I realize that the part design does not have Capture Design History turned on. So I do that now. The Change Parameters command is now available and I can edit the parameters for my jaws. Except that the changes are not reflected in the design, they are saved but ignored.
So, problem #1: User parameter changes are not applied to inserted designs if capture design history is turned on only after the design was inserted.
Bug or feature?
Moving on, I delete the inserted design and then insert it again, expecting that this time parameter changes are effective. And indeed, this time the changes are reflected in the design.
But, problem #2, under Change Parameters I have now two sets of my jaws' parameters. The old copy belonging to the deleted design are still there and so are the current one's, with a _1 postfix.
