Open Slot Tool Path Error

Hey all, so I'm new to the forum and fusion as a whole but I generally have a decent grasp for CAD software. I'm continually running into an issue with the tool path handling an open-ended slot. For context, I've got it setup to run a 2D Contour and the part was modeled in SolidWorks and was also imported into fusion. The sketch feature in question is a linear pattern with identical geometry.

(The tool in question is a #2-6mm flat (Datron Single Flute))

I'll try to keep my explanation short, but fusion is inconsistently handling the surface geometry for this part. To my understanding of how its handling it is that it first generates a tool path as a contour and then goes back over it as a slotted hole but not all the way through... I've got images attached to further show what's going on. It only seems to recognize one slot fully and doesn't fully pass through on any of the other slot openings.

Is there something that I'm missing here or that I'm doing incorrectly? Any advice/ help is greatly appreciated!

Hey, I've dealt with similar behavior before. If you turn your precision the whole way to 8 decimals in your measure feature, my guess is that you will find that the slots vary in sized by micro amounts. I've fixed this issue in the past by using an offset face command and opening the slot by 0.0001 of even less. That should fix your issue.

I'm not certain on this but I think the reason the slots vary in size is due to fusion processing the model when importing. Just my guess

Thanks for the info, I went ahead and changed the precision on the measure tool and both instances equate to the same thing (unfortunately).

Ok, I would still try to open the slot by 0.0001 and that should fix it.

Meant to reply on my previous post. Yes, that fixed it, thanks for your help!
