I am looking for someone who offers online CAM tutoring.  I need somewhere from a half hour to an hour.  I have been stumbling with handling stock from previous operations and a few other basic concepts.  Nothing really complicated.  I have received some unbelievable assistance from this forum, but I do not want to take advantage.  I am happy to pay for this assistance and appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.... Richard

The Forum is designed to do exactly what you want, you are not "taking advantage" at all, far from it, every time you have a problem that someone on the Forum solves for you be it Autodesk employee or other folks that is not only helping you but lots of other people who can find a solution that you got in the Knowledgebase.

Please, keep asking for solutions on the Forum, it does help many people and of course Autodesk to make the software better 🙂 🙂 🙂

If you have a Fusion file that needs some explanation then upload it for investigation and I am sure someone will help quite quickly, if it is within my abilities such as they are I would be happy to do a short video that may help bring other assistance to you 🙂

Hello Engineguy,

I can't express how much fantastic help I have received from this forum!!!  I have received help from you and a number of others that have simply gone over the top with great direction.  Someone even posted a 45 minute video to help with a previous issue.  Simply Amazing!

As per your direction, I will continue to post my questions and thanks for your encouragement.

At this point I will also reach out to the gentlemen who offered to help as well as I think if I could spend 30-60 minutes one on one it may be more effective in helping with a few areas that I continue to stumble upon.  Nothing big, just looking for a few tips regarding pickup up stock from previous operations as well as some tips on sketches.

Thanks again for all your help!

Ensure your stock model is a component, not a body! For some reason people don't share that part of critical info....

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

Thanks for your suggestion.  I did see this note on a video of using stock from a previous operation.  Yes, I did select the component, not the model.
