O.D. undercut lathe toolpath how to create???

Greetings All

I am new to using forums or blogs so bare with me.

I have been on Siemens NX for 30 plus years.

Some mastercam and cimatron also.

I fell in love with Fusion 360 I think it is real good software and it helps the little guys like me afford a cad/cam system.

Anyway in Lath I can not get it to cut a O.D. undercut? 

Any helps would be nice.

@john.l.w.services Unfortunately the only way to machine such an undercut right now is by using a sketch to only define that undercut and overriding the model. However we're actively working right now to allow a grooving tool to be able to machine undercuts like these on the model itself.

Thanks for the reply.

Like I said in my question I really like Fusion 360 enough to even renew my license even though I really am not doing business.

I work for Barnes Aerospace now after 10 years at Belcan Engineering.

They use Siemens NX mostly.

I really hope you get the lathe issue work out it is a simple thing to do in a lathe.

But seems like it is a hard thing to do in software.
