New tool library duplicate tool

if you want to duplicate a tool then change for example the dia. Why does it re calculate the Vc and Fz instead of the RPM and MM/Min? I am trying to create a database with all the correct data in for the different material groups and an idea of Ap and Ae in too in the cutting data part.

The calculation line should surely sit off of the Vc and Fz which should remain constant? Instead i now have to change the Vc and Fz for each material, cutter and size.

Please tell me i am missing something and there is a quick fix to this?

Hi @Anonymous

I've just had a mess around in one of my fusion sessions to see if i can replicate what you are seeing and it does as you say change the surface speed instead of the RPM. I will report this as a bug so the development teams can fix this issue. As you say, if you want to build a tool library for cutting specific materials, you want to be running at the same cutting speed so i can see this being frustrating if you have to continuously alter the surface speed information. Will file a report for this issue now.

Cheers
