Native Support for Concave and Convex Radius Cutters?

Hey all,

First time poster, long time reader. Lately I've been doing a lot of CAM programming with Fusion and I've been stumped recently dealing with trying to use a concave radius cutter. I'm trying to create a full radius along the profile of a thin aluminum part by using a radius mill similar to this: http://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/03173028

Problem is, the tool library doesn't support this kind of cutter, so I end up having to calculate how far I have to set my Z height on a regular radius cutter to catch the full profile of my part. I must also calculate a lead in and lead out  to allow me to get under the part without pulling up or pushing down on the part. I was wondering if these tools would ever be supported in the fusion tool library or if Autodesk could look at this and come up with a potential solution?

Thanks,

Cameron Bradley

For some reason Autodesk has really dropped the ball on Form tools in Fusion, which would easily solve this issue.

Ain't that the truth.... I was somehow thinking they would have made their way into Fusion by now, but no such luck 😞

So many things that are almost finished....and then they move to the next progect
