Multiple Depth Bug

Here's a bug I've noticed for quite a while, correct me if I'm wrong here. In CAM, I'll setup a tool path after selecting a tool, let's say 2D Contour. When I go to create my next tool path, let's say 2D Contour again, my previous tool will be selected along with my Preset. However, if I select Multiple Depths, the Preset will populate with the default value. If I then go back to my Speeds & Feeds tab, I'll see that it changed back to Default and I have to reselect my Preset, at which time my DOC will update correctly. Basically, selecting Multiple Depths when the Preset is preselected will reset my Preset to Default every time. I've noticed this for as long as I can remember (but finally posting it now).

Hmmm, very odd, not seen that one before 🙂

Just done a small test with 4 2D Contour toolpaths and I haven`t been able to replicate that issue, whatever is in the "Preset" box stays there when I go to create Multiple Depths, not changed anything.

Workflow is :- open new 2D Contour, Tool is as per previous Operation and so is the "Preset", select a contour, now go to Multiple depths and set values, return to Tool Speeds/Feeds tab, no change to "Preset" 🙂 🙂

What OS are you running ?

What Version of Fusion ? Build number here is 2.0.12670

Can you do a screencast showing the issue ??

What tool library are you using?  Is it your own library?

It's my custom tool library, I copy and update tools as needed. Here's a screencast (which it keeps telling me is invalid HTML and removing, so the link is below).

No problem, my question is more of whether it's a bug. I've seen this behavior for at least a year, so I'm assuming it's some sort of bug.

I'm running MacOS 12.3 currently (but has happened on previous versions as well). I'm running the latest build of Fusion, and has occurred on every previous build for at least a year.

I keep trying to include the screencast, but it says "Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied." So, the link for my screencast is below in an earlier post.

Yes, My thought is that it is something with the script when you use that MDF preset.  I have never used that preset option/tool but my thought was that it had to do with the preset.

It's every tool, every preset, every operation. I've never had it not do it unfortunately. Some of the tools I've built from scratch, others are duplicates from Amana, it all has the same result.

I have tried and tried to replicate your issue but no luck, the only thing I can think of is that it may be a Mac issue ??

If I get time later I will try to do a Screencast for you of how it all works here for me 🙂
