Moving Imported DXF file

I am having trouble moving/translating a file that was imported to Fusion360 as a DXF file.  The file imported correctly and I was able to rotate the file where I want it.  But I noticed the original top of the part(now the bottom) is sitting on top of the X-axis and I want to move/translate it -.75" on the z-axis.  I have selected all the items and right clicked to pull up the menu to move the part, and tried a couple different options to move it down on the z-axis and after clicking Ok, it appears to be staying in its original location.

Any thoughts on how I can get the part to move where I want it? Or move the axis up? so the part fits inside the stock rather than on top

Thank you,

Steven

Hi,

I'd like to help.

When you pick the Move command, are you moving the sketch objects?

If you could post a screen shot of the screen including the browser and sketch you wish to move, it might help me understand more.

Thanks,

Phil,

I've attached an image of the part. I am moving under sketch objects, and I've tried the four different move types. I suppose I could just compensate when I go to CAM space before Post Processing.

Sorry but it's still not clear what may be happening. Can you possibly share the file so I can work with it directly?
