I get an error if i try to POST a wrapped tool path to MACH3 post processor. I have the latest post from cam.autodesk.com. So here is the error message i get.

Indexing with the 4th axis are no problem but wrapping a tool path show this error.

Is there a way to debug post processors?

I looked into it and when i suppress the swarf operation the post runs. What can i do to get the swarf operation run with mach3 post?

@macmanpb

Works OK here if I select an Axis for the job in the Post under program settings. See image attached.

Sometimes the multi axis programs can spit out a tiny B or C move when you do a sim, if turn show axis on it will show the axis moments most times you can spot it there. Or it is what is posted above.

This is definitely frustrating as I can get a 4-axis toolpath out of HSMWorks, but even in beta mode in F360 with 4-axis Limit on I can't get one to generate or post with any rotary-axis post processor.

@martin.dunschen could you speak to this perhaps?

Hi  @Steinwerks@martin.dunschen,

I tested the haas, fanuc  and many others but have no chance to get a working post with the swarf operation in

the tested model.

Use the Linuxcnc post and turn the A axis on and add in the C axis you will see the micro c axis moves, in the code.

Turning 4th axis limit on stops it working all together.

Sometimes it does work and only puts out A axis moves

Just so you know it is not you, this one works and spits out A only, this was used as part of a model that was cut on a 4th axis.
