Live tool surface finish help

Does anyone have any tips on getting a good finish on the blue areas of this part?  I'm trying to make it from aluminum on my DMG lathe with live tools, and can't seem to get as good of a finish as I'd like.  I've tried running a ball end mill in a spiral on it, but that tends to rub since it's using the center of the tool most of the time.

I'd like to get as smooth a finish as possible.

I feel like coming in from the side with a lollipop cutter would work better, but haven't been able to figure out how to get that to work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And turning it is not an option?

The end is angled, and there's a few others of these with a steeper angle.  Unless there's a method of turning that angled end that I'm unaware of?  It wouldn't surprise me

It wasn't clear from the screenshot what the actual geometry was like. Can you share your file?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply.

What's the live-tool max spindle speed?

Well, I'm not having any luck with this, aside from hitting it head-on with a 3D Scallop or Spiral toolpath.

I know we're working on getting additional 4 axis rough and finishing toolpaths into the software, but those are a ways out.

dang.  I've been even trying out the multi-axis paths like swarf, contour, and rotary in hoping I could hit it with the side of a lollipop cutter but haven't had any luck with that either.  Looks like I might just have to buff them afterwards, although I'm looking at some polishing tools in the machine as well.
