Lead out can't reach exit positions....I don't have a lead out in toolpath

So had the get latest error....which went away as described in my last post.   I came back and added the warning "lead out can't reach exit positions"

So  after some unsucessfull attempt to change the lead out position....I just deleted the lead out simulation shows it is gone.....So there is no lead out.....

But I still have the lead out warning and the get latest warning....things are going downhill this morning....

An "Exit Point" has to be off the Model, otherwise there is no position to go to so you get the error. If you have to have one then you will need to Sketch a point somewhere away from the Model, hope that helps 🙂 🙂

If your aim is to overlap the start/finsish point then you can do that under the "Passes Tab", see images below for the settings.

Thank you  helps a lot point off the model..

I have been having a big problem with the entry exit points leaving a high spot on the contour.

I tried ramp cuts (no entry or exit) but cutting time is way up.

Not sure what I should do increase or decrease or eliminate entry and exit over lap...go to ramps?

Any suggestions.

Starting and ending at the same point can leave material, so the answer would be to use the "Overlap" so that the toolpath goes a little way past the start point and removes any small bits of material.

Or if it is possible depending on the Model/Stock you can use a Corner on the Model with a straight approach in and out might help, no horizontal or vertical radius leads.
