no, I don't have an example of that and to me, Fusion is reliable with detecting collisions that may occur.
I get it how the video isn't as clear as it should be but everything up until the 10 minute mark, the lead-in positions are always in the same exact spot so no collisions are detected and the cuts are fine.
at the 10 minute mark is when I regenerate all the tool paths except the final pass lead in position has been changed slightly so it no longer coincides with the previous two.
it is then you can see the popup show 1 error detected.. and this error is very quick and at the very end of the timeline. it's because the tool is now exiting at a point that hasn't been cleared out by the roughing tool path since the lead-in points are no longer the same

but to be clear, I'm not asking anything of Autodesk at this point.. the way I'm doing it now with the script in rhino and the ability to use points as a selection set in Fusion is perfectly adequate for me and is saving me tons of time compared to how I used to do it. I guess this post is meant to bring awareness to the importance being able to control lead-in/lead-out positions when using vacuum spoilboard hold downs on sheet goods.
Fusion is awesome for doing this stuff, especially compared to Vetric VCarve (imo) but for whatever reasons, VCarve seems to be the go-to that many of the manufacturers are pushing these days. They seem to focus on exactly wood/sheet goods whereas Fusion seems to talk more about or geared towards metal machining.. which is fine.. but still, it works great for 5x10 3axis machines as well.
